<p>I'm wondering how long the common transfer application essay must be. It says 250 words minimum, but does anyone know what is the maximum? So far, I have 580 words. Could anyone help me please</p>
<p>The max is 1,000 words for both essays combined, but the minimum for each is 250. So, if you’ve got 580 words for one essay, you’ve only got 420 left for the second.</p>
<p>ACC are you just referring to the UC application, or the Common Application that most universities use?</p>
<p>The Common Application has no maximum. I have seen people on the general transfer thread, who got accepted, say they wrote upwards of ten pages. If I was you, I would call whatever school you are applying to and try to see what they think is reasonable. I’m guessing a 1000 words is a good barometer to go by.</p>
