So I'm planning on applying to UPENN regular decision (deadline Jan 1) and I still have to take 2 subject tests (Bio and Math II) and retake the SAT I, current score is 1950, definitely not good enough for UPENN I think. Initially I had thought of taking both subject tests in October and the SAT in November. I'm now debating splitting up the subject tests, taking Math II in October and Bio in December (I'm aware that I'd pay more for registration) If do take the Bio in December will UPENN be able to receive the scores in time for the deadline? I'd most likely be sending it via online, not mail. Also, do you recommend putting UPENN in the recipients list for the 4 that are free with the November SAT registration? When i took the SAT in the past I didnt put any colleges as recipients because I didnt want to send scores before seeing them lol.

From Penn’s admissions site:

“Regular Decision candidates should complete all testing by December of their senior year. First-time testing delayed until January will place the applicant at a disadvantage in our evaluation process. Tests retaken in January will be accepted.”

Designating Penn as a free send on the December test would assure it will be timely received but probably not necessary as long as you order it sent as soon as you learn of score. Designating Penn as a free send on the January test is necessary to have a real chance of it being considered.
