What’s the word limit for the essay?

And it a “hard 650”, meaning it will cut you off at 650 words. In the past, there was no hard-fast maximum in which you would be cut off–you could just load whatever length essay you had. No longer. Remember, less is more. Don’t ramble, be concise in what you want to say. Adcoms read hundreds and hundreds (maybe thousands depending on the college) of these so make it interesting and not something that they stop reading.
