<p>Hi, I already wrote 2 supplemental essays and Im just editing and then Ill pick the best one. But I was wondering how long should they be???</p>

<p>You are probably fine. Chicago seems to not make a big deal out of word limits. Do you mind me asking what you wrote about?</p>
<p>Mine was around 800-900 words</p>
<p>350 - 1000 words. And I’ve even seen less/more than that who have gotten in. They don’t seem to care too much, but don’t babble!</p>

<p>On the Common App, they said to write a page or two for the extended essay. Mine is 3 pages, 950 words, but it’s double-spaced. Should I adjust the spacing so that it fits into two pages, or does it need to be shortened? I feel that each sentence leads to a deeper understanding of what I’m trying to communicate through the essay, which is why I’m hesitant to leave anything out. </p>
