Let's say I've forgotten all my pre-calc (which I pretty much have). I'm a decently strong math student (770 SAT I and A's in calc BC as a junior).

How long would it take me to learn everything on math II? I plan to go through Barrons and take its practice tests. I'm going for an 800.

I did one practice test and did a cursory glance over some of the topics I completely forgot (vectors, matrices, conic sections) the night before.

Expecting an 790-800 depending on the leniency of the curve. If somehow I don’t get an 800 this time, I’ll probably be doing the same one night of review before the June testing date.

^Ah, my pre-calc class never even covered vectors, matrices, and conic sections. But from your experience, it shouldn’t be too bad :)

Do I need to know trig identities, half angle formulas, etc…?

sometimes, but a lot of the questions can be done if you know how to use your calculator.

learn statistics, probability, combinatorics, and how to use your calculator

^ Does the barrons help with calculator stuff?

It helps with some but you have to play around with your calc to get the most out of it. But of course if you don’t know how to do the problem to begin with your calculator will be of no use for you.
