How long until UNC-CH replies?

I applied to UNC-CH for the early action deadline on October 15th. I was wondering how long it usually takes them to reply to my application even though they tell you the end of January.

I am wondering the same thing!
Did they email you saying they received your application? They still haven’t emailed me and I am getting worried. Might have to call them

They emailed me within a day or two saying they received it but they never sent me a GuestID email like it says they would. I would call if you haven’t gotten the email yet!

They send you a link via email and you have to set up your guest ID, PW and Connect Carolina portal to track your application status. Then you have a page with their checklist etc. on it.

Common App. confirmation comes within 48 hours.

They are a little slow. The admissions lady (very brief and clipped) said they take 4-6 weeks to process all sent materials. Does not encourage you to ask too many questions. All other schools are updating portals faster. Maybe this is just a busier office with many more applications.

I haven’t received an email from UNC-CH either, just the confirmation from the common app.

thoughts??

My S applied EA on October 13. Three days ago he received an email to join connectcarolina. Today his test scores showed up on connectcarolina. He no longer has any “to do’s” on the “to do” list. So it took 4 days or so to get the invite to create the connectcarolina account and two more days for his test scores to show up.

End of January is an accurate estimate. I’m a first year student.

Still haven’t gotten the connect Carolina email…helpp

Reply from UNC:We apologize for the delay in receiving your Guest ID email. Due to the high volume of applications we’ve received in the last few days, it is taking us a little longer to load the applications into our system. Your Guest ID will be sent five business days after we upload your application.

My D got her acceptance near the end of January last year. FYI: They will want your semester grades reported as well, so keep them up.
