Hey guys,

does it usually take a significant amount of time for North Carolina admissions to process files? I submitted my ACT scores and transcript about a month ago, yet ConnectCarolina still says that they're missing. It might be because I'm out of state or something, but this feels rather atypical.

Thanks!

I’ve found it depends on how busy their office is.

Anything longer than 2 weeks I would contact your high school to confirm the date it was sent, then contact admissions and ask for the records coordinator. They can check your file and let you know if it gets hasn’t been entered or if they haven’t received it.

Has UNC even imported the applications from Common App yet? My daughter has yet to receive a confirmation or any log in info to check credentials. We created a ‘My Carolina’ acct but it doesn’t recognize that she even applied but her app as submitted a couple weeks ago.

Talked to school yesterday and they have not even imported info from Common App yet

I’m going to send my transcript in the mail and via the common app. They’ll just throw out the physical one if the one on the common app went through. I’m not willing to risk it.

Has anyone received confirmation about application being received?
