The supplement didn't specify a specific word limit. How long are you writing yours? (People who were accepted ED please answer!)

Hmm.. yeah good question. It only say to write a short statement, but how short?

mine was quite long... 650 words as far as i remember... BUT it was an exception, so you better check with others before submitting (ps: i got deferred =)

650... jesus! that's longer than the commonapp essay....

I was thinking somewhere around the 250 word range, like the other 2 short answers.

I think I just answered the prompts in one paragraph and sent it, because by that point I'd been up all night finishing the main part of the application and I had a New Year's party to go to. Definitely less than 300 words, and more rambling than anything coherent.

The character limit on the online Common App is 1500 characters, if I recall, the same as the short answers who have a word limit of 250 words. So, it probably should be about 250 words.

Mine was 310 words.

wow...by short statement i thought they'd expect like 50-100 words

i am struggling to fit all my words into a "short statement". (yes, i already wrote my statement)

someone might critize me for asking this, but i think the example would give a better picture.
can anyone share BSE degree statement with me and us?? you can pm me or post on here if you dont mind.

thanks in advance.

ahhh...i wrote150 and reading how much u guys are writing...i already feel like a reject

isn't it only supposed to be a thing where you basically tell them why you want to go to princeton and study bse there? like how its so good?

yeah but its not a flatter-princeton essay
