how many 2400s per test date?

does collegeboard reveal stats about how many people achieve 2400s each time the SAT is administered?

I believe they do..~300-400 each

Let's look at last year's data. 294 perfect scores over 7 administrations of the test. 42 perfect scores per test date(on average)

^ Oh, good correction. I meant per year.

What I find funny is that on any given test date, 20% of the perfect scorers seem to stop by CC to post "2400" in the results threads.

They're mostly liars, though.

you think so?^

^Not necessarily. Sure, it's easy to label them as liars. But think about it: these 2400-scoring people are obviously very focused on academics, and they clearly care a lot about what they score. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't be such high scorers. Now, if you were take a group of highly motivated individuals who are very concerned about their SAT scores, what are the chances that ~20% of them frequent CC, the biggest forum for college prep? I'd say pretty high. It's only 20% of them, after all.
