How many AP/IB classes are manageable?

I was thinking about taking this schedule next year, but I'm getting worried it won't be manageable. For Senior year:
IB History
IB English
IB French 6
AP Physics C
AP BC Calc
AP Stat
AP Psych

Right now as a Junior I'm taking:
IB History (SO HARD)
IB English (Not bad)
IB French 5 (Not terribly hard, but difficult enough)
AP Microeconomics (Eh)
AP Chem (Hard, but I'm still getting an A)
Honors Precalc (So easy)

I have to take IB History, IB English and IB French 6 because they're 2 year classes. IB History is BY FAR my hardest class so IDK what to do. IB English isn't that hard a class as long as you do your work which I've never been the best at. French got a lot harder this year, but the teacher who teaches IB French 6 can't speak French well so it'll be pretty easy (I had her last year for French 4). I'm also definitely taking BC Calc because math is my best subject and 3 teachers have recommended me for it. I'm a bit nervous for AP Physics C because I took Honors Physics as a Sophomore so I'll need to brush up on it. AP Stat didn't sound too bad because again, I'm good at math and it's supposed to be pretty easy. But the thing is, if I don't take Psych, I don't know what to take instead.
I could take Tech (it's a requirement) but I was going to take that online this summer. I also could take a second science that's easier like Astronomy or Forensics, but honestly, I have no idea at this point if my planned schedule will be manageable.

So um… bump?

Some people can manage 7-8 AP courses. Some people can’t manage 1. It all depends on the person.

^ I agree.
It all depends on your work ethic. I’m taking 3 AP classes this year and the only reason I can’t handle more is because I’m a huge procrastinator. So again, it all depends

It all depends on the school and the APs. Some schools’ AP classes assign hours and hours of homework a week. Others are not much harder than standard classes. You need to discuss it with your classmates and teachers.

Ok here’s the deal for me:
I think I can handle a schedule with all AP’s, even though I’ll have to stay up and get 3-4 hours of sleep almost everyday. Last year I took no AP’s and only honors and I had to stay up. The year before I was an ESL student and took all regular classes and yet still stayed up everyday. This year, my schedule is half AP’s and half honors and yet still the same sleeping schedule. Why this pattern? I haven’t the slightest idea. Maybe it’s like an equation with variables related differently i.e. the more hard classes I have, the less I procrastinate :D. So I don’t know maybe it’ll work for you the same way if you are smart. People who aren’t intelligent are the ones who can’t handle even one AP.

^I disagree with your last statement about people not being able to handle at least one ap. There are at least 3 of those people in my AP Chem class and they’re doing well. There secret? They studied a lot and finish the lab correctly. It all depends on what you do, not how smart you are or how the lesson is learned.

They’re not bad then if they finish the lab and study a lot. Trying to succeed and finishing their work is a sign of some level of intelligence. A lot of my pals I think won’t even survive in an AP level class at my school. They have never opened a book to study (totally dependent on teacher provided notes that has everything that will be on test), and I don’t think at all they would understand what our AP bio or chem class does everyday. Unfortunately, I can’t describe this type of students well enough, but I hope you get my point. Superstarlala, if you are able to handle your current schedule and get decent grades, I see no reason on why you should fail to do so next year. You’ll learn to adapt; trust me. Just believe in yourself.

I’m on the full IB Programme schedule, and although I dislike it, I handle the work well. I don’t get much sleep these days, but I have no one to blame but myself for that. I think if you’re willing to put forth the effort, you can manage almost any schedule.
