I know UMich has been receiving more and more applicant each year and I was wondering how many do they have this year?
For EA, there were around 30,000. As EA applicant pool has been 50% of the total applicant pool in the last few years, it suggests a total number of applicants near 60000 this year (vs 55000 last year).

DJKhaled, the deadline is next week. Any guess at this time would be speculation. The University usually releases unofficial data sometime in June. Official data is released in the Common Data Set each January.
You are right. It was 51797 and around 27000 for EA last year.
For some reason I thought it was 10% up from previous year. 2015 applicants were up 4% from 2014 only. While the EA applicants went up 10% from last year.
