Hi,

I feel so envious of most of you for being able to take many AP classes. I haven’t taken any AP classes yet, and I’m a junior in high school. I almost took AP Studio Art: 2D in school, but it changed to another course due to schedule issues. Anyways, great job to all of you for being accepted into AP courses!

Freshman year: 0 AP courses
Sophomore year: 0 AP courses
Junior year: 0 AP courses
Senior Year (AP classes that I’m planning to take): AP English, AP Studio Art: 2D, AP Psychology, and AP Biology

I self-studied AP Biology and AP Studio Art during my sophomore year, but I don’t think it counts officially.

@ClarStuff

“accepted”

Really, it’s no great feat at my school. If you have a brain, clothes, and are enrolled at my high school, you’re allowed to take whatever AP classes you want. My AP lang teacher was ****ed this year because some kids who really shouldn’t have been in AP lang took her class and lowered her pass rate almost 10-15%.

@relativelysmart

At my high school, students would need an A- in a honors class or A+ in a standard class to advance to an AP class. I just thought that other high schools would have similar rules. I apologize for the confusion.

11 by the time I graduate.

@ClarStuff, I wasn’t being aggressive or anything haha. I’m just saying at my school there are really no standards and it bugs the crap out of me.
