How many APs will you take by the end of junior year?

S2: Eight APs and 2 IBs by the end of junior year. Five more APs and 4 IBs senior year.
9th -- US Gov't
10th -- USH, Env
11th -- Macro, Micro, Calc AB, Eng Lit, Spanish Lang, SL Spanish, SL Econ
12th -- Eng Lang, Bio, Euro, Stat or BC Calc, Comp Gov't, HL Bio, HL English, HL Euro, SL Math
Will take IB World Philosophy, but will not take the exam since he already has his sixth subject.

only 5. my school basically prohibits any freshmen from taking aps, i had to write a letter to the principal & academic dean telling them i was motivated to do well on 2 aps as a sophomore (calc ab and chem) and only 3 this year because our school only lets kids take 3 aps at most. really retarded rule, imo considering public school kids can take aps whenever they please.

four!
ap bio.
self studying for
psych
human geo
ush

I don't understand: what kind of school do you guys go to that they'll allow you to take AP classes as a freshman? By the end of my junior year I'll only have taken one AP class, US History, because that's the only one offered to non-seniors.

It's online, complain enough and they'll let you sign up. (No one else at my school has ever taken an AP class)

Schools like to be annoying somehow they think that's their job.

I'll be taking

Chem (should be piece of cake)
Comp Sci (pretty easy)
Bio (not so much- self studying 75%)
USH (ehh.. I actually really like American history but my class sucks)

4 tests, no classes.

AP Euro
APUSH
AP Chem
AP English Lang

My school doesn't allow us to take any ap's before junior year so only 3 (+1 weighted) but I have taken all honors classes

let's see
AP Gov & Pol
APUSH
AP Env. Sci
AP Micro
AP Macro
AP Calc AB
AP Spanish
AP English Lit
AP Stat
AP Euro
AP Bio
so that's 11.
And IB SL spanish, Math studies, and economics and HL english, history, and biology.

damn, im no fun

I'm glad that there are people here who have already taken more than 8 exams. I'm taking 7 this year and I've been getting weird looks from the administration at my school.
I'll have 9 total by the end of the year.

test or course?

test is around 17-19.

Hmmm...8.

AP World History
AP Chemistry
AP Physics B
AP United States History
AP United States Government
AP English Language
AP Calculus AB
AP Psychology

Only 2 will be self-studied--unfortunately, I'm not as cool as most of you.

AP World, AP Eng Lang, AP Bio, APUSH, AP Chem, AP French Lang

3 tests (AP Calc AB, APUSH and AP English Language and Composition), 2 classes (not Eng. Lang.) My school doesn't offer any APs until junior year and only a few then.

Only 5, which seems like so little compared to all of you. My school doesn't let you sign up for the test if you didn't take the course, which is kind of stupid. Some students are trying to change that for next year.

Soph-APUSH (5)
Junior- Calc BC, Comp AB, Bio, US Gov

And then my senior yr I'll have 4 or 6.

my school didn't let me take any frosh or sophmore year

junior - APUSH, Chem, Com sci A, Bio, Calc AB, Physics B

then in senior im gonna take
both Physics C
AP govt
Stats
calc BC
Ap lang comp
AP psychology

and maybe micro and marco if i get bored

so that 15 total

I’ll have 5 by the end of junior year:
10th Grade
AP World History
11th Grade
AP English Language and Compsotion
AP Physics B
AP United States History
AP Psychology

This is pretty good considering that the max in my school would be 7. The only courses I flaked out on was 10th Grade AP Chem (taking it as a senior, glad because credit from this course is vital and I probably would have failed the AP test) and either AP Stat or AP Environmental Science for 11th Grade.

1, the only AP class in our school… APUSH!

We’re actually IB, so that’s not too bad. If anyone here is doing IB and self-studied for AP’s, please PM me!

There’s no rule against freshman having APs at my school but most of the APs are part of the curriculum for older kids, so I took none as a freshman.
sophomore-
AP comp sci A
junior-
AP BC calc
AP Physics B
AP English lit
AP English lang
senior-
AP chem and/or AP Physics C (both physics tests if i take it)
AP spanish or AP art history (needed for humanities credits =/)
perhaps AP econ (both tests again)

so, between 7 and 10.

2

My school doesn’t allow APs to be taken in 10th, and the only ones offered in 11th are APUSH and Lang/Comp and Enviro Sci. I did the former two but didn’t want to do Enviro. I would have self-studied but I didn’t really realized you could :p

Trench coat, you better be kidding or else you gave yourself a lot of pointless pain.

Anyway, I’ll have taken 6:
USH, macroecon, US gov, psych, latin lit, and eng lang…
