Unless you go to one of those schools that offer AP exams for free...cheapos. =p

Someone named David Bahn took 72 AP credits (24~27 AP tests) and graduated college with double major in one year. His college CGPA at the time of graduation was over 3.9.

Check this out: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/19/AR2006091901779.html

considering that I started this thread to inadvertently brag about how beast I am, and now seeing that 14 AP's isn't anything too remarkable, I want to self study a few a next year. i've heard that human geo and env science are easy but im not sure. anybody have suggestions for easy self-study exams?

"WARNING AS A DISCLAIMER"

The posts and individuals represented on this thread do not remotely represent the vast majority of the college bound high school students as a whole, nor does it represent the average sample of students to attend top nationally ranked universities as well. The sheer number of Advanced Placement tests do not represent academic or admissions success, as every year of college bound CC'ers can attest to.

The vast majority of the schools in the United States do not offer such numbers of AP classes and its students do not take 5 or 6 APs per year. Readers should be aware that this is the fringe exception and not the norm.

In conclusion, GET A LIFE people! Why are you feeding College Board thousands of dollars every year on test, books, and other supplements?!!! You load of people must be living with your head under the sand just for some vague notion of recognization that no one will be impressed about ten years from now.

Soph : APUSH
Junior: calc bc, physics b, eng lang, world history
senior: stat physics c chem eng lit gov macro micro
so i guess 12 ......dang

TO EVERYONE FEELING DISAPPOINTED OF HAVING FEW AP CLASSES:

Colleges generally see that you are taking the most rigorous classes available at your school, so don't be worried if you dont have 15 AP classes. I'll only have 4 or 5 and that's the limit for my school

how do you people still have lives?
wow im impressed with the youth of america..=)

lol I didnt have a choice, i was forced to take 4 in my freshmen and sophomore years :(
we don't have to pay for the tests though so i guess its not too bad.

you guys think taking 7 ap's gives you know life, but it really doesn't. im honestly very pleased with my life right now. i have a girlfriend. while i may spend 6-7 hours on homework each night, the fact that i only sleep 3 hours (i know its unhealthy, but you get used to it after a week) still gives me time to do stuff. it's really bothersome to hear you say i have no life because i have 7 ap's in one year. not to mention, if you do enjoy learning and are self-motivated, 6-7 hours of homework begins to fly by after the first couple of weeks of school. and on top of that, having a course load like mine forces you work under constant pressure. it's actually kinda funny to be like "**** its midnight, and i only have 9 hours to finish my Spanish, chem, apush, and English hw" (that's what my schedule looks like on B days). its not as bad as it seems once you get in the flow.

im not impressed sk33. more in pity for you.

how do you do extra-curriculars than? exercise? social exchanges? fun? relationships with family members?

dude, if you have the work ethic anyone can do anything..its like people who take easy classes and mass ECs
