FastNeutrino: Not being a math/physics person, the only one I got was the I. I’d be a disgrace to the MIT sweatshirt.

I own excessive college apparel. Not typically worn in public, except on those days I’m bummin’, but hoodies/t-shirts from my sister’s school, my mother’s alma mater, and assorted paraphernalia from three schools where I did summer programs.

@Hannahbanana69
I’m not usually skilled at discerning sarcasm on the internet, so if your post was sarcastic, I apologize for being oblivious.

Anyways, the geekout moment for me:
(E/c^2) is referencing to the mass–energy equivalence equation E=mc^2, where the m is isolated by dividing E by c^2
sqrt(-1) is i, obviously.
(PV/nR) is a manipulation of the ideal gas law in chemistry, where PV=nRT. Thus, this manipuation isolates the variable t.

From these, you get MIT :D

chewydog: It wasn’t so much sarcastic as sardonic. After a second I figured out that somehow it stood for MIT, but the only one where I was able to figure out WHY was the I.
So, yes, I probably WOULD be a disgrace to the MIT sweatshirt. I don’t DO that stuff.

@chewydog…That just went way over my head.

I own an Ohio State t-shirt and sweatshirt, because that
s my Dad
s football team he always roots for, even though I don`t really have a desire to go there.

I own Virginia Tech shirts, though, as does everyone else around here (either that or UVa).

Lawl at that MIT sweater. I recogized them apart but didn’t put them together.

I own no college stuff. My parents went to UK so go wildcats. ■■■, legacy…

Only one - a UCLA sweatshirt. Mom’s an alum. I don’t really want to buy a shirt or sweatshirt for the colleges I’m dreaming of… I feel like it would jinx it!!

Most of the ones I own are based off of college sports fandoms. I have split allegiances between UNLV and Michigan State for football and basketball, but I also have to give it up to my hometown Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves hockey team as well.

@FastNeutrino HAHA I have that hoodie too!

In total, I have -
2 MIT (hoodie & t-shirt, sis goes there)
1 CalTech hoodie (got when I visited)
3 Stanford things haha (Bay Area reppin!)
1 Harvard tee
1 UC Berkeley hoodie
1 LMU hoodie from when I went to a summer camp there

One shirt from UGA because it was free when I visited. I do wear it occasionally, though.

I have a UW volleyball tshirt from about 3 years ago and a load of Tennessee merchandise (right down to my piggy bank, a Smokey the dog bobble head, and a cheerleader Barbie that my grandpa got for me when I was little)

3! All state schools of course.
1 sweater from when my sister went to visit a college with her friend. It doesn’t fit me anymore plus I don’t really like the school. Another sweater from the school my sister currently goes to, and then a shirt from where my sister’s friend went to Governor’s school. It used to be my sister’s, but she outgrew it.

1 2015 Harvard shirt.

A Harvard hoodie (threw it away because it became rather damaged).

A Yale hoodie.

Bought both my freshman year of high school bc obsession. The Yale one is so comfy. ≧﹏≦

I only own 1 that says Cal but its a tank top if that costs…I bought it 2 years ago though so my mom probably threw it out

This is what I have :
- 3 Colorado buffaloes t shirt + 1 sweat shirt
- 1 USC t shirt
- 1 North Carolina t shirt

I have harvard and stanford sweatshirts (parents’ alma matters) but I never wear them outside my house…too embarrassing if I get rejected. I also have a Pitt t shirt that I got for free when I visited. I think that’s pretty much it.

hahaha right now I own a Cal zip-up hoodie, Stanford sweatshirt, and an Oxford University hoodie…

i don’t care if i jinx these schools since even if I got in, I would not go to either Cal nor Stanford. Both schools don’t have a good atmosphere for me and are too close to home. But I won’t get in anyways so I won’t worry about them nor will I even apply to them.

And Oxford, uhm, I don’t think my family can afford that. I got it as a souvenir, and as far as I can tell, I absolutely cannot go there. So, jinx or no jinx, I don’t care.

Well since my Dad works in Duke athletics, I have more Duke stuff than I can count. Big fan, and still will be a fan, even though I’ll be going to Penn State.

None so far. I’ll get a sweatshirt and shirt from wherever I end up going for our “future plans” spirit day later on this year.

I think it’s just bad juju to get them now.
