I’m going to UCONN and was wondering roughly how many courses can I expect to take take a year

Look up your major’s sample schedule. That will give you an idea of how many classes you have to take including roughly how many credits per year.

Usually around 16 credits, so around 4 classes.

Aside from your first semester, anticipate enrolling in 5/6 classes per semester. So around 10-12 classes each year at UConn. Although it may vary based on your major requirements.
