I'm taking 7 courses as a total this year out of a possible 8.
I would be taking more but I just transferred and my schedule is totally wack. I have to take nightschool next semester just to take a course I want.

Anyways how many courses do you take?
Would not taking the max amount of courses turn off adcoms?

yes, not taking hte max number of courses will turn off the adcoms. they will be so disgusted with your application that they will be forced to vomit in a trash can, then shred your application, burn it, and sprinkle the ashes over the Ganges river

The maximum number of courses which a student can take at school is 4 per semester. However, you can take an additional 2 classes at night via Web Academy. Very few people even take an online class as a 5th class. I only know of one person who has taken 2 online classes along with their 4 other classes at school. So, the norm is 4, with very few taking 5 and 6 classes.

7 classes (English 10, French 3, Geometry, Music History, Computer Graphics, Chamber Singers, and Chemistry) , 6 credits. The norm is 6- 6.5 credits at my school. I'm taking 6 credits next semester too (I'll be done with Music History, Computer Graphics, and Chamber Singers and I'll take Acting 1 and Modern European History instead) but I'm adding a half credit of Piano.
