<p>I would think that might be much. I would check and see if they would even let you do that. Most of the stuff you will take freshman year are required classes (depending on what school you are going to)</p>

Four courses first semester of your freshman year is enough, and if you feel afterwards that you can handle more (though most likely, you won't), then you can go for twenty credits later. First semester involves getting used to college, for one...</p>
<p>agree completely with ijailin89. if you're finding things easy, challenge yourself to get a 4.0, it will help to a have a solid GPA as a foundation for your later semesters.</p>
