How many credits do you need to achieve a minor?

<p>I saw somewhere, someone said 18 credits, so about 6 classes if each course is worth 3 credits. Is that correct? </p>

<p>And what about majors? </p>

<p>Or do both minors and major credits depend on what you're minoring and majoring in? </p>

<p>It’s 18 credits (equivalent of 6 classes) for most. I know for a minor in math you need 21. Might as well go for the major in math anyway since you probably only need two or three more classes.</p>
