<p>mine says john muir college which happens to be the first choice i randomly selected.</p>
<p>Mine says John Muir too (my first choice). It just recently updated with the family orientation info. The last page (after you hit next a few times) has my name on it.</p>

<p>SAme with mine, but i don’t think there’s no relevance to the housing message. If there is great, but it seems a lot more likely we would get accepted if our housing message changed on tritoneye.</p>
<p>I was just asking because the page used to be mostly blank for me (except for the John Muir heading at the top) and just today I noticed that it now has all the parent orientation info on it including my name on the past page. It says: </p>
<p>"Your student, Melissa [mylastname] must be registered for an Orientation Session Before you can register for the Parent Orientation Program</p>
<p>Have your student go to the New Student Gateway to register for an Orientation session."</p>
<p>It is probably nothing but it gave me hope!</p>
<p>No i agree with you, it did the same thing to me, and honestly until your post I just checked again today and it has done the same thing for me as what your telling me it has done to you so we can hope. Keep our fingers crossed!</p>

i just got the new housing message last week… before that my parent orientation site was almost blank aside from some links at the top and the muir logo stuff. after my housing message changed, the family site changed to…
“We are delighted that your student has decided to attend Muir College at UCSD!”
it also shows orientation dates and cost.

<p>everyone had that message with their first school, i don’t think it has anything to do with acceptance/rejections.</p>
<p>the housing one is more validated in my mind because everyone that had the new housing message got in !</p>

<p>True, the link takes everyone to their first choice school…almost positive it doesn’t mean anything, but the message is different now that my housing status has changed, so I would say they are both correlated/an indication of getting in. </p>
<p>Also mentioned it in another thread…those of you who have the new housing message should also be able to register for transfer admit day.</p>

<p>how is the message different? Mine says “Your student, (myname) must be registered for an Orientation Session Before you can register for the Parent Orientation Program” on the registration page for the parent orientation. I don’t know if it did before.</p>

but my housing message changed and i was able to sign up for admit day sooo that seems like a good sign… lol</p>

My housing message did change last week, so I’m a little hopeful.</p>
<p>Because the last batch of admissins are released this week. Friday or Saturday I believe.</p>
<p>I didnt apply for housing ? Does that mean I shouldnt be worried since I dont have the message. I have the other message though where it tells me my school and says my name and when for my parents and I to come to admit day.</p>
