How many hours of sleep do you get per night?

Senior, 6 AP classes, mock trial, music, etc. I get about 7 hours a night, only because I like to spend way too much time on Facebook. I could easily get 8-9 hours a night, but oh well. That’s what AP Stats, Gov, Art History, and (sometimes) Bio are for, right?

Sophomore: AP World, AP Bio, Math Analysis, Chem, and a few other less difficult classes. Valedictorian, straight A+'s last year and this year so far. President of Math Competition Club, officer in some others, active in debate, in the school play, tennis player. I’m busy.

Sleep: 5-6 hours per night; sometimes less, seldom more.

I’m a junior in four APs and three college classes graduating a year early. I get straight A’s and am ranked first in my class.

I get anywhere from 4-7 on school nights, depending, and 12ish on Friday night.

7ish per night, 6 on less good nights, I get good grades so meh

Only 7 per night, but that’s because I spend two hours watching silly TV shows. I really need to cut down haha.

I’m a senior with 3 AP’s, a ROP course, an honors, and a dual-enrollment course. All A’s.

Senior in college business major 8 to 10 hours. Bs

Sent from my Droid using CC App

Sophomore: all A’s with most rigorous course load possible as sophomore (not that rigorous, lol) and college-level human bio class. I get 6-7 hours of sleep. Maybe less if I feel like reading :D

Around 7. 10char

Last year as a sophomore I used to get around 7-8 hr daily. I had no APs and all As.
Now as a Junior Im taking 5 AP classes the rest are honors. I only get 6-7 hr of sleep on schooldays. On weekends I get around 8-10. I still ahve mostly As but APUSH and Ap Spanish Language i think I have A- in. AP Stats is my easiest AP class but it’s killer on HW…

2 hours a night lol

You wouldn’t survive.

God you kids are pathetic…
I hope that the sleep deprivation is because you spend the rest of your time having fun.
I get 7-9 average, am a team captain, eagle scout, state medalist in track, have 4 APs on a block schedule, and straight As with a 2310 SAT. And I still have time to eff around.
Seriously kids, go outside.

5-8, depending on studying, after-school stuff, sports, and the urge to sit up till 3am texting friends (without a doubt my worst habit).

Note: It also depends what time your school starts, how far away it is, etc.

Sleep is really important for memory and learning.
A Better Way to Prepare for Exams

"Sleep could prove to be an important part of the strategy for preparing for challenges such as exams. “The fact that sleep provoked slightly more plasticity (connections between nerve cells) than double the amount of exposure to experience – suggests that if you reviewed your notes thoroughly until you were tired and then slept, you’d achieve as much plasticity, or ‘learning,’ in the brain as if you’d pulled an all-nighter repeating your review of the material,” says Michael P. Stryker, Ph.D., researcher at the University of California, San Francisco

Studies have shown that sleep-loss affects learning and memory. When animals and humans are deprived of sleep, they do not perform well on memory tasks."

Too little sleep is also associated with excess weight gain…

God how can I be more like you…

congratulations, your name is also darkwalrus77

You gain weight when you don’t get enough sleep?! Woah.

I get 6-7 hours of sleep on the weekdays. This is also considering the fact that I commute more than 2 hours everyday.

Six tonight. I usually get six to seven hours and obviously more on weekends. I can’t seem to fall asleep before 11. I am so going to try avoid morning classes in college…one or two is fine, but I am definitely not a morning person.
