Idk but i was wondering do you think Georgetowns first essay is more of an open ended question which you can write about anything. Because I know Columbia had a similar "Write an essay that lets us know more about you" and you could write any experience or w.e u wanted. Is this the saeme situation for georgetown?

I wrote a personal narrative for the common app so it fit right in.

do you think writing about a personal experience would fit this criteria?

i wanna know that too!

i wrote about a personal experience, applied EA-got in

go for it

I wrote my common app about a person I admired (stupid!) but I reworked it for Gtown, putting in more about myself. I kinda like it but who knows, it might be awful. Now I gotta start my SFS one.

I think it depends on your topic and if your essay says what you want it to say about you... I'm going to use mine from the common app but I wouldn't advise you to if it's all about how your grandpa died of cancer, you know? (unless, of course, it's mainly about how you grew from the experience)

i just woke up. i don't think i'm making any sense, lol sorry

mine was specifically about my aunt i look up to because she travels a lot and i respect her because she follows her passion. i basically said "my aunt taught me this. then blah blah blah about me." and did that for like 3 paragraphs. i hope there's enough about me in it, i already submitted it to brown so oh well.

I used the exact essay from common app for gtown-- I picked the "personal experience" as well.

mine is about a personal experience!
