anyone know how many people apply Dartmouth ?

25,000-27,000

[Admissions Statistics](http://www.dartmouth.edu/admissions/facts/admissions.html)

3% less than last year.

LESS people than last year?
That’s good news!

@busterbeetle, I am from CA just like to know do you like Dartmouth ?

@drgreenhead: it’s pretty nice. I like it a lot! The cold weather’s not as bad as people say it is, and the professors I had were all pretty interesting haha. Greek life’s dominant, as you would expect, but I don’t really mind that.

To me, the only downside is the lack of really amazing restaurants (I LOVE food lol) I mean there’s some good places, but not much selection.

22,000 sorry roughly the same as the class of 2015.

Besides food options being scarce, do you feel like there isn’t enough to do on campus? Coming from where I am now (near DC), I am definitely used to having lots to do. Does the campus feel really isolated??

Yea sometimes I do get that feeling. A large percentage of students just go to the frats to hang out, but there’s definitely a lot of other activities on campus that different clubs/programs organize. We also have a theater, a cvs, a gelato, and a starbucks in Hanover. There’s free transportation to West Lebanon if you want to go shopping on weekends.

Ok, thanks for the info!

We’ll see how the decision goes : )

Good luck!!! Hope to see you here :))
