DataBox: with 5 ivy leaguers, 3 Stanford, 2 Northwestern and many to UCLA and Berkeley I would say your school is pretty competitive.

Especially compared to mine where I am the only person going to a top 20 school and the rest go to small privates in the area or the state schools (not that there's anything wrong with that.) Just judging from those acceptances your school has to be pretty competitive.

I know of at least two other people from my school that are on CC. They used to be quite active posters until they both got accepted in their top choice schools.

I wish I went to a more competitive school.

I think my grades would be better, no matter how insane that sounds, but when you're covering the same topic for the fifth time that year, you get bored and slack off. Plus that way I wouldn't have to listen to kids think they're going ivy, when they don't even know which colleges are ivy league.

Well...I guess, but I live in a woefully uncompetitive portion of the Bay Area compared to the rest of the Silicon Valley, for example I was the first person to ever qualify for any Olympiad finals from my district ever. Moreover, most people at my high school get in to top schools due to luck, many people with better stats on CC get rejected from the same schools they get accepted to....

I hope none cuz this forum makes me look less funny then I am at school, kids would be heartbroken if they knew I cared about what colleges I get into

eh, probably one or two. I dont publicize the fact that I post on this site, and im sure that other people dont publicize it either (for obvious reasons...haha).
