<p>Since the number of required recommendations is decided by the school, unfortunately, in certain cases you may have to submt more than one.</p>

<p>As stated, it depends on the school - check their website. From what I’ve seen many schools ask for one counselor and one teacher recommendation. Only a few want more - too much to read when they are receiving thousands of applications.</p>
<p>All three of my schools on the CA ask for 2 teacher/1 counselor.</p>
