Here's an article in the Daily Gazette which answers this question.
Ask the Gazette: How many Swatties take classes in the Tri-Co? :: The Daily Gazette
Bottom line: 35-40 Swarthmore students per semester take classes at either Bryn Mawr or Haverford

That's a good find. People seem to always wonder about that in tours, and now we have a concrete number. In my opinion, 40 students per semester really isn't much at all. Some tour guides do take classes in other colleges and will tell you that a lot of people take classes at Bryn Mawr or Haverford, but really, I don't know anyone who takes classes there, and since there are so many classes offered here, most people don't really need to go to another campus anyway. But I would say that a lot of people take advantage of the fact that you can check out books from libraries in Bryn Mawr and Haverford, and Swarthmore has an inter-library loan program, so finding a book you want shouldn't be difficult.

Something like 80 come to Swat—which reflects something.

Is it possible that it could reflect, in part:
Swarthmore: ~35-40 students/1400
Bryn Mawr+Haverford: ~80 students/2500

The difference looks much less significant when you consider that there are more of them than there are of us.

That said, I know a ridiculous number of Bryn Mawr students taking linguistics at Swarthmore, which may skew the data somewhat.
