I was just wondering, since we actually pay to send our scores to colleges, does that mean that it doesn't matter how many times we can take the SAT or SAT subject tests until we get the scores we want?

Will/can colleges check into my collegeboard account and check how many times I've taken the tests? Or is it in my best interest (besides the cost of taking the exams) to take as many exams as possible to maximize my score?

With subject tests (SAT II’s), score choice doesn’t work quite like that. You can choose which subjects to send to colleges (unless the college itself has a policy requiring that all scores are sent), but if you send one given subject, you have to send ALL of the dates for that subject. So if you take Math II, Physics, and Lit, you can send Math & Lit only, but if you’ve taken Lit 4 times, you’re going to have to send all four scores for Lit if you send Lit at all.

ahh, okay, yeah i guess that’s fair enough.

Thanks for letting me know!
