How many years do you propose to study in the U.S.?!

This is a question for international students and I was wondering what should I write. How am I supposed to know? May be 4, but what if I decide to go to graduate school in the states too? Any suggestions?

Well do you plan for grad school in the US? If not just put four. Four is the standard time to complete US college. If you plan to do a Masters as well, add two years. For a Ph.D. add two or three more. If you don't know about those other degrees, just stick with four. You can always change your mind later.

i would put 4 even if you do plan on going to grad school in the US

really? why ?

because it'll make everything simpler if immigration thinks you're going back to your country after four years. I don't think this is really important actually, but if you end up going to college in America, you shoiuld ddefinitely tell customs that you're going back after you've finished studying

oh I see. thanks
