Becoming a dermatologist is EXTREMELY difficult. extremely.

Howstuffworks "How Becoming a Doctor Works"

If you have the time, read that article about becoming a doctor. But basically, to become a dermatologist, you need:

-4 years of college (or more, it doesn't really matter, but most med students have at least a bachelor's degree). During your four years of college, you major in whatever you want while still taking the required pre-med courses so you can apply to med school.
-4 years of med school, during which you will decide what kind of doctor you want to become. It's not that easy though - you have to match into your specialty (like derm or radiology or whatever you want). And tons of med students want to be dermatologists because its a lifestyle specialty w/ tons of cash. It's probably the hardest to go into other than plastics.\
-4 year residency for derm. Im not exactly sure, but i know it's at least 4 years after med school.

To become a lawyer, you typically need 3 years of law school after undergrad, and then you need to pass the bar exam for whatever state you want to practice in.

For the lawyer, you left off the time owed to the Devil after you sell him your soul. So that's, what, 4 years undergrad, 3 years of law school, and then eternity?

Sorry, but that one was just hangin' up over the plate.
