How mid-year report affects chances question

Alright so I applied to all most of my college regular decisions and my counselor just recently submitted the mid-year report. This probably isn’t a huge deal but I dropped two class ranks (2 to 4) in the mid-year report. The reason why is because some people took advantage of a program at our school called College Credit Plus, where they can take classes at a local university and get double the AP credit in the same amount of time (a little broken, yes).

I was wondering if something like this would affect my chances at a university like UPenn, as my performance did not drop at all. I kept all A’s and had a rigorous class schedule.

Also, does anyone know how quickly the adcom in colleges get to applications for regular decision (~Jan 1)?

Thanks guys.

Unless your class has 6 total students, no. Moving from #2 to #4 in a class is NOT a differentiator.

Dropping from 2 to 4 won’t matter as long as you did well in your classes.
