How much are you paying for UB?

Hello, I'm really considering applying to UB for early decision but I'm a bit concerned about the cost of tuition. I know that it is a SUNY school and is probably already cheaper compared to other schools but if any of you would like to give me a general sense of how much you are paying, that would be great. Also, tell me if you got any scholarships and how much you received from financial aid (based on income). The scholarship from the school is based on the SAT/ACT score you get right? if if you don't mind, please tell me that too? I just want the information to see how much i might need to pay relatively. Thank you!

Have you try its Net Price Calculator? See [Net Price Calculator | UB Office of Financial Aid](http://financialaid.buffalo.edu/costs/netpricecalculator/index.php)

I currently pay about $10,000 each semester (accounts for Tuition, Room/Board, and out of pocket expenses for books and traveling to and from Buffalo to NYC on breaks). Some students who receive financial aid actually pay $0 with full Pell Grants + TAP + Loans (the loans its self shouldn’t be that great of an amount, but depends on how much you take out).

Your cost would definitely be lower or higher depending on if you decide to live off campus or on campus, what type of meal plan you get, and if you get any scholarships from the school or outside the school.

The maximum Pell Grant is $5,645. The maximum TAP grant is $5000. That leaves more than a little to be covered with loans.
