I got a 179 (1790) on my PSAT without studying. Provided I'm taking a class to improve my score twice a week until the SAT, how much do you think I can raise my score?

it honestly depends on how much effort you want to put into studying for the SAT. Classes are meant to guide you, but you’re accountable for putting in time and effort in order to raise your score.

I mean I’m not taking the classes to not try in them…I’ll do what they tell me to and study how they tell me to

Personally, studying is helpful, but not essential. What you need is just practice. If you tell me your scores for each subject, I could give you specific examples, but I am a freshman and I scored 199 (1990). You should be able to bring it up significantly. Keep up the good work!

I got a 66 for reading, 60 for math and bombed the writing with a 53

Thanks for the input everybody.
JimmyTheTutor, I plan on focusing intensely on my writing and making sure I know what im doing while working to increase my other scores. My main focus is improving writing
