This December, I took the SAT without studying, and got a 1710 (I know, that's super low compared for most of you reading this thread).

If I study a bit more and take loads of practice tests for the June SAT, do you think my score can have a boost by, let's say, about 300 points?

Haha, I guess not. But maybe you guys have any experiences with score boosts that you may share with me so I am a little less anxious and overwhelmed with this SAT stuff.

Thanks.

super low FOR most of you* sorry

You could definitely get it up 300 points by June. My first SAT was a 1760 without studying and I’m expecting over a 2100 on the SAT I just took. I was consistently getting around 2300-2400 on the practice tests.

So yes, you can get it up by June. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. Just keep practicing and you can break 2000 no problem.

if you study and take tests, you will be fine. make sure you go back and study vocab from all of the sat tests that you take. most of the words that were on this past (March) SAT were repeated from tests in the past. good luck!

Also, the second time around, it was much easier for me to get through each section. On practices, I would normally run very close to full time. But I got through each section with at least 5 minutes left. First time I got 2160 and am now hoping for 2240. (I think it was very possible)

I took the PSAT without studying and scored a 176 (only 50 points higher than you basically).

Today I’m consistently scoring at the 2000 range, mostly from taking practice tests. I haven’t really used any books besides for Vocab boooks like DH 1 and 2, and Grubers for light review.
