how much chance do I have, if any?

International student

Sat I
CR 610
WR 680
M 780

Sat II
Math II 800
Physics 800

That's definitely not enough to make a good judgement about your chances.

if that's all you have then no chances...MIT is a lot more than just scores

yeah, we'd need to see your courseload, ECs, etc.

no, obviously not. Just havent got time for writing more then...
Well, I am IB student now, (HL, Math, Phys, English A2 SL Geo, bio, Polish A1)
as far as academics are concerned
I participated in Polish olympiad, gone through some stages; however didn't make it to the finals
in 9th grade a finalist in Polish Informatics Olympiad
Some titles from minor physics competitions

well there aren't many of significant successes, I am not a genius or specifically talented if compared to others, but I really enjoy physics and math, for me they are much more interesting than any other subjects. What most appeals to me is that they require understanding of the basics fundamentals (the core) before advancing to the details. These subjects are also deeply analytical, and I enjoy a feeling of discomfort before solving some of math's problems, sounds geeky, but it's true. though most wouldn't suspect me of such preferences... I'd better stop cause it's starting to be almost a confession...

EC, still deciding what to include in my application...
basicly it's a lot of volunteering,
working with mentally challenge children,
teaching or rather consulting physics to a girl who had problems with the subject,
participating in various intercultural festivals, as well as helping with organization of Vietnamese film festival (I am Vietnamese living in Poland) to add to Polish people's understanding of Vietnamese culture.
Summer physics camp/school with lecturers topic ranging from complex numbers, quantum physics to theory of relativity
apart from that, purely for entertainment:
playing in school's girl soccer team
playing piano
skating

there are still more stuffs to write about, but I don't want to litter the forum too much:P

look at the lengths of some of the other chances...

Then decide how much you should put in.

I want to trick you and say 0 because you will be competing against me in the international pool but really give it a shot.

Your chances for admission to MIT are above average, in my opinion. And that is based on just your original post.

thank you guys, ColdWind you're probably over-optimistic person...

obesechicken13 (is that how I can refer to you?) I thought you were going to Cornell:P

But if anyone could point where are weaknesses in what I have written I would be grateful...
