how much did you write for the EC short answer

<p>Just wondering how much you guys wrote for the short answer for elaborating on extracurricular activites. The limit is 1000 words..how many words were in yours?</p>

<p>Do mean 1000 characters for the Common app essay?</p>

<p>It’s 1000 characters, so it has to be pretty short. Mine was 964 characters, which made 178 words (I think they say under 250 words but essays as long as that might not fit into the text box; my first draft didn’t).</p>
