we also have to pay for all of our books in the classes however, in AP English, that bill was over $150 for books alone.

Consider buying used textbooks online, i.e. www.half.com -- i just got two AP textbooks in good condition for 25$ after delivery/taxes

$88 :(

My son's school did not charge for AP exam at all. It might be because it was his school's first AP class ever.

$83 per test, it sucks, because next year I'll be taking 5+ exams, so that's like $400+ I need to ask my parents for.

Colorado: $83

Also, I'm curious what the most expensive APs are overall at some schools.

For my school, AP Bio is 83 dollars for the test, 118 dollars for the book, plus lab fees.

AP Statistics is 83 dollars for the test and 125 for the book.

AP English Lit is 83 dollars for the test and 65 dollars for the Bedford Reader.

AP Micro is 83 dollars for the test, 85 for the textbook and study guide.

We get don't have to buy our textbooks, the teacher just keeps a class set. We have to pay $20 for Bio/Chem Lab fees.

We sit at an even $100 each test.

I don't know how the hell our school gets away with it; I think they just know that everybody will still pay.

$83. If you decide that you don't want to take it after you've already paid, you get $70 refunded.

10 dollars for all the ap tests you take. whether you take one or six, you still only pay ten dollars total. plus the teachers get ap money for every ap score of five they get as an incentive for good teaching ;]

^ Your system sounds amazing!

Around $82, depending on the exchange rate. If you decide not to take a test you registered for, you pay $15.

All the textbooks in our school are recycled from year to year, so we never have to buy textbooks.

Free. (10 char)

What kind of schools do you guys go to where you have to pay for textbooks and lab fees?

Anyway, it's simply $83 per test at my school.

Hawaii: $73

Some schools pay their students for good scores as well.
Mine was $83 per test this year, so my family paid CB $1224 over three years. ($150 incurred in late fees junior year, given that I was not around until that time)

You guys are so lucky. My school leeches off of our students because basically everyone takes AP tests. A whooping $95 per test!

8$ per test, regardless if it's your 1st one or 15th one.

if you havent taken the class but want to take the test, thats 83$ (or however much collegeboard charges)

It cost me $10 for 2 tests.

at my school it's $83 each

$90 per AP test. The extra seven dollars is for administration fees or something like that.

$83 each
