If I were to get a BS in EE or ME and then go off to graduate school to get an MS BME, would the salary be the same as someone with a MS BME or would the undergrad degree have a bearing on the salary? How much do BME`s make starting off vs after years of experience? Can they get a six figure salary?
It’s going to be very tough to stay motivated through six years of engineering if you’re just in it for the money.
Many BME do undergrad in ME or EE since it give stronger engineering background compare to BME.
@KF7LCE Im not really choosing it based SOLELY off of money, I have several possible paths I might take and Im trying to decide which one has the most pros. Overall Im going to choose what Im good at not what gets me more cash. I guess a better question is how do I decide which field of engineering I want to go in?
Look at sites like Glassdoor and Payscale to get an idea of how much different types of jobs pay.
