<p>I would encourage you to talk to your guidance or college counselor, since they would probably have much better advice than what you would find on CC.</p>
<p>It will help enormously at most colleges. But you’ll find at the very top colleges you’ll have a lot of classmates that are legacies, athletes, URMs or otherwise connected who will fill most of the seats your school will be alloted.</p>

<p>Yes, it will help! Talk to your counselor to get a feel for where graduates from your school have gone before and it will give you a good idea of how well your school is viewed by Ivies and such.</p>
