How much do SAT Subject Tests matter in the admissions process?

So I'm thinking about taking Math level 1 and level 2, but it would require a very large chunk of my summer to study (I'd also be studying for a retake of the ACT). How much do these tests add to a college application? The only college that seems to care that I'm applying to is Colby. Would it be a good investment of time and money to take these tests in addition to the ACT? It should be said that Colby is more of a reach for me, would this make it a match (if I did well)?
Any advice is greatly appreciated
Thanks!

Taking both doesn’t make sense in my opinion. If you have made it through Precalc, I would study Math level 2 over the summer (including probabilities) and take it in the fall. If you didn’t make it that far, study math 1 over the summer and take it in the fall.
