How much do you save by living in an apartment in IV, compared to living in Manzanita or San Rafael? Assuming I pay $600 per month with a $520 one time deposit. . .

And what are the differences? Do we also get financial aid for the apartment rent from FAFSA? Would it affect my financial aid status or something?

UCSB says I am not eligible for university-owned apartments. . . (which is, frankly, dumb. I am about to be a sophomore next year. . .)

Anyone care to answer??? I'll come by your place or dorm and cook for you one day or something. :)

I pay 4,273.36 a quarter for a Manzanita double and 10 meals a week. x3 for the year= $12,820.08. Divided by the 9 months I live here= $1,424.45 a month

So an apt sounds much cheaper. You have to add the costs of food and all that tho.

I hope you know how to make some good Mexican food!
