How much does housing cost?

<p>i was hoping a current student could let me know about how much a month does housing including all utilities costs for a single room occupied by one person and also how much would it be for a room with 2 occupents.</p>

<p>Hey I'm looking for off campus apartments right now. The average is about $450/mo for a single room, and about $300/mo for a shared room.</p>

<p>Either way you go, it's damn cheap!!! :D</p>

<p>I have a 1 bedroom apt.. it runs $900/month for rent+utilities. So, if I had 1 other person living here, it'd be $450/month.
If you live in a multi-bedroom apartment with lots of people, it'll cost you about what nate said. I know someone that rents a walk-in closet underneath a staircase for $200. (he has his mattress in there, but a lot of his stuff is elsewhere in the apt... he spends most of his time in the living room)</p>

<p>I hope I don't have to live under a staircase after the first year. I'm worried about rent. People at Davis say it's cheaper than dorm housing but electricity and food bills might make a difference.</p>
