How Much Does MIT Family Contribution Increase/ Older Sibling Graduates & Just One Child In College

We have 2 sons - both will be in college at the same time for 2 years, then the older one will graduate. Younger son just got in to MIT. Does anyone have experience with MIT’s Financial Aid in this situation? Wondering how much Family Contribution went up after older child graduated from college?
Thanks for any information

I would think you could input several scenarios into an expected family committment calculator to see the impacts.

I would imagine the impact could be significant but would be based on your specific incomes, assets, etc.

Try the various “what if?” scenarios in the net price calculator.

MIT NPC prediction was accurate within 10% margin for us vs official award just received.

Thank you for your response/suggestion…we haven’t fond NPC’s from other schools to be reliable, so hadn’t considered trying that. Will give it a shot!

Good to know that for you MIT’s NPC was within 10% of what you actually received. Thank you for letting me know!
