My freshman year did not go off to a great start (for someone who has her eyes on ivy leagues)... my overall gpa UW was a 3.7 or 3.68 and W was 4.07 (I took 3 HN and 1 College class), and sophomore year I got all A's except for one B. UW was 3.83 and I took 1 AP 3 HN. This year for junior year my semester grade is 3.8 UW, and I take 4 AP classes. Not only this, but I also am very dedicated to competitive gymnastics. Will the Ivy league colleges (Columbia and Penn) care about my freshman year at all?
Thanks!

Princeton is the only Ivy school I know of which does not count freshman year grades. For the rest they would count ~1/3 of your total GPA. Actually I don’t see a significant difference in your grades across your HS time.
