<p>I finally submitted my application :D Do you guys think I should ask for my transcripts to be mailed tomorrow, or wait a week or so until I get my UM-ID so I can have that added? Will adding a UM-ID make everything so much faster that it's worth waiting a week or two?</p>

<p>How do you get a UM-ID…I’ve received mail from UM and didn’t see an id number on it!</p>
<p>I never discovered a potential UM ID until yesterday with my mail I’ve recieved over the summer. On the envelope, look above your name, near address etc… look for a unusual 8 digit number, I suspect that is your UM ID.</p>
<p>Mail in everything ASAP. They’ll use your name and birth date.</p>
<p>Considering the UM admissions office, the sooner, the better.</p>

<p>Haha, indeed. I can understand that they have huge numbers of applicants but if they’re slow during the early period, imagine what awaits the regular round folks.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t be surprised if U of M got more early applicants than RD. Everyone in my school applies to UMich early, and I’ve never seen someone on this site applying RD. I’ve heard rumors of people with great stats getting WLed just because they applied RD since so many spots are filled by early applicants…</p>
<p>I know, even though my app will be in around 3 weeks before the ER deadline, it seems like I am one of the last ones on here to apply :(</p>
