I just took a Barron's practice test and I hear it's supposed to be much harder than the SAT itself, but by how much? Is there some sort of conversion scale I can use?

CR - about the same/slightly easier
Math - WAY HARDER
Writing- about the same

Use the conversion scale in the official SAT practice test booklet.

Thanks, hey

The questions aren't just harder, they're different. Don't use Barron's tests. Don't use any other test than College Board's.

Barron's writing is much confusing than the real one based on my personal experience

I second you there godfatherbob
just answered exactly what you said to someone that was asking about Barron's ACT =P

Ok! is the collegeborad Book Test easier or harder compared to the real test.

hiroshima- pretty much the same thing.

So, the passage difficulty level, the writing multiple choice and maths are pretty same right?

Made by the same people who make the test, so obviously "yes".

I personally found OC tests harder than BB, and the real thing (October 2008) about the same as OC tests.

wut are the OC tests?

oh, nvm...

Well, is the Barrons a good review book to study from?

I don't know... I got all 800s when i was practicing from BB and my real test scores weren't anywhere near there. Maybe it was just a bad day... :(

lol yeah right perfect score in barrons!? impossible!
