Small university on the west coast: approximately 4%.

COA is rising where I work, but tuition rates are not yet set. It’s just a guess.

At S1’s school costs have risen about 3% per year which I was happy about…he’s graduating this year – whew – since the college announced a 6-9% increase next year due to that particular state’s funding cuts. I have not heard about #2’s school and doubt the rates will be set until early summer. It’s getting tough out there no doubt!

There is a 3% tuition and fees increase at my son’s college. I am hoping for a decrease in room since he is looking to live off campus. He was in a campus apartment this year which was more expensive than the double dorm rooms, but there was a slight savings in the meal costs, mainly because he took on more of the expense himself. I expect to give him about the same amount for food and necessities this year, and hope it works out.

4.86%

10 char.

4.59% at DD2’s school.

Looks like about 3% at one school, do not know about the other school yet.

S1 at a California public - I’ve lost track of all the increases, maybe around 6% of tuition, but tuition is a very low percent of the COA.

S2 at a private - room & board increasing by 3.5%, tuition increasing by 5% for a total increase to COA of 4.6% ($2163). For those who receive a University Grant (need-based aid), aid will be increased by $350-$550 per year.

FL public (OOS): tuition +15% and total COA +12%

4.96% at D’s midwestern LAC.

About 5% at S’s LAC. The COA for next year at D’s university is not available until next month.
