Im looking at transferring schools and paying a total of 60,000 for the next 3 years in student loans. That to much?

Yes, it is too much.

For Undergrad? Way too much, I honestly wouldn’t go over $20k for an undergrad degree. You can splurge on a Graduate program if you intend to pursue one.

Who is going to co-sign those loans for you? You can only borrow $6,500 for sophomore year, $7,500 for junior year, and $7,500 for senior year in federal loans on your own. Beyond that you need private loans and that means finding a co-signer who is willing to pay off your debt for you if you can’t or won’t.

you say elsewhere that you plan on majoring in exercise science. That’s not a lucrative field at all ($12/hour jobs). You should have a serious sit down with your advising staff at your college.

Im possibly going to ohio state, which is 41,000 for me. My parents can only pay 30,000 so thats an 11,000 difference if they pay that. Plus if i have to stay another year cause im switching majors. Thats 44,000 at the minimum i would have to pay.

Is Ohio State out-of-state for you? Do you have an in-state option that would work instead? It will be very difficult, if not to say impossible, for you to scrape together $11,000 each year on your own.
