For those interested in an mba or a career in finance/ibanking/securities.... how much math is needed? I have heard that a couple of stats courses, a business mass, and calculus up to linear algebra is the norm but i am not sure? Are differential equations and even-higher level math necessary/helpful? Thanks.

Nowadays, math and business go hand in hand. The more math and statistics course you take, the better your resume will look. But if math is not your strength, take a few courses in calc and stat to show that you are "Quantitatively Qualified".
