How much/often do you drink?

I probably drink around 10 drinks a week total

it depends on the weekend. most weekend nights though i drink 10+ drinks, which is usually a mixture of shots, beer, or mixed drinks. i often have something like 5-7 drinks on a thursday, and sometimes a few on wed too.

Not very often, but I make the most of it when I do.

At my school we usually always go out Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I usually get drunk on Fri/Sat because I have nothing to worry about in the morning. Thursdays I usually get pretty drunk because I’m dumb, but Wednesdays I don’t drink too much.

Last night got exceptionally hammered. Few shots of jager/rum then very strong rum and coke then a few more shots through the night. Not a fun night at all though.

And yeah, the GAC also is in order, you can smoke and drink but you have to finish that before the pizza and you have to finish the pizza before the puzzle.

We never came anywhere close to finishing our puzzle though…we did do the 8th/5th and pizza in under 15 minutes.

Every weekend, I find all the drugs I can and take them all at once. If I’m still alive, I do the same the next weekend.

As you can see, I’m still going :p

I know why dudes are always sick in college. It isn’t from making out with chicks or drinking nasty beer, but from playing beer pong. It is so gross and when im in college im never going to play it. Ok. the ball rolls on the dirty table, all over the floor with puke and pee on it, then everyone touches it, and then you dunk it in your cup before pounding the beer. Sounds cool! Thats like licking the frat house bathroom floor.

I don’t know where the people you know are playing beer pong, but I’m not going to a party there.

I’ll generally drink between 2 and 3 nights a week. We will have to see now that football season is over, however.

Beer pong is not nearly as gross as you made it sound.

For one, who has puke and **** on the floor?

^ the poster isn’t even in college yet. He’s making assumptions.

I know this might sound like a really dumb question, but are you from England? Because I’m studying abroad there next semester, and a resident director had to actually tell us to avoid drinking with the locals because they get trashed even worse than Americans. She told us we will die if we kept up with the English.

I thought that was kind of funny …

Yeah, there wouldn’t be puke or pee on the floor. Also, here in Madison we use cups of water, and you drink a regular beer every time the ball goes in one of the water cups. Much cleaner.

It’s odd that you know so little about college but you feel the need to tell everyone how things are.

Oh, and yes I have heard that the British drink a lot more than us. There’s a British exchange student in my class and she’s shocked that few people go out on weeknights. She drinks so much, it’s insane.

It’s a well-known fact that people from Britain, Scotland and Ireland are perpetually drunk due to their bodies producing alcohol.

It’s also a well known fact that Scotland is part of Britain.

Tell that to a true Scot and he’ll have your head ;)

I’m not sure where this preconception that the Scottish are anti-Britain has come from. Yes, it’s true that many Scots choose to identify themselves as Scottish opposed to British, but that nationalistic trait exists within the populous of all the home nations. To go so far as to say that Scotland is not part of Britain, or that Scottish people consider themselves somehow ‘separate’ is very foolish in my view.

Thank you for making my night.

We usually fill one cup with mouthwash and let the balls sit on top of that between rounds (also helps get rid of the nasty taste of Keystone Light), and if the table’s gonna have anything on it, it’s just spilled beer or water. I’m not sure where the misconception that there’s pee and puke on/near the beer pong table came from? YOu obviously don’t know colege parties; everyone tries to make a good impression and people aren’t ****ing on the floors and puking everywhere.

And honestly if you distribute one can among each side of the table, and assuming you’re playing two per team, you’re only gonna end up drinking half a beer per game. It’s nothing.

You drink an ** entire beer ** everytime someone scores? haha now that’s dedication.

I drink generally 2 nights a week, typically on Friday and Saturday (but once in a while there will be an occasional Thursday). Just turned 21, so on my birthday I was a hot mess but generally on other days I drink moderately (get drunk but not plastered, off probably an average of 6-8 drinks). If I’m not feeling so well, I occasionally go the sober/tipsy route but I definitely do not like being the “sober” person in the room (considering all my friends drink as much as I do, if not more).

For beer pong, generally there is a water cup that is used to rinse off the ball before it is shot. So that makes it less disgusting. Also, my friends tend to play water pong instead of beer pong, and just drink beer on the side to avoid the mess of spilt beer everywhere.

The floor might have beer/assorted mixed drinks spilled on it (nothing new) but puking on the floor is a huge faux pas (it still happens but on very rare occasions).

Nah I’m not from England. Just drink a lot :)

The reason people from the UK and surrounding area can “drink way more than Americans” is because they can legally purchase alcohol at the age of 18, and can go to bars and such. I mean, I know it’s no problem for people under 21 to get alcohol in the State’s, but I won’t even be able to buy a shot for another 2 years.

Anyway, I usually drink Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Usually pretty trashed most of Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Usually black out at least 2 or 3 times a month.

For beer pong, at my school we usually use water cups and just drink our beers as the game goes on. We’re usually too drunk or just don’t care enough to be like “hey! I made that cup, you have to drink!” we’ve already been drinking our beers lol. Back in my hometown before I came to college and at a lot of apartment parties up here at school, we play beer pong with the beer in the cups.
