<p>For master's programs at higher level engineering schools, how much research experience do they expect you to have? I've worked in a bio lab (not related to my field) for two years but wouldn't classify what I do as research. On the other hand, I'll be participating in an REU this summer in my major field. This would most likely be the only experience that I'll have before applying to grad school. Is less than one summer's worth of experience enough? Thanks.</p>
